Marcus & Jalyn McGill are songwriters and worship artists based in Dickinson, ND. Their relationship started with a mutual love of music and Jesus, which soon led to marriage. For years, they desired to write and release worship music, and their debut album came out in 2022. Today, Marcus leans into the production side of things, and Jalyn focuses mainly on writing. Together they lead worship and serve as pastors at a local church.
Their upcoming project, between barren & beautiful, is full of honest lyrics for the heavy heart. These worship songs are written for the “middle” - before the prayers are answered, before victory comes, and before there is a beautiful ending. Marcus and Jalyn pray that these songs resonate with those in a waiting season, and offer hope, encouragement, and comfort in Jesus.
The fifth single, My Yes (Mary’s Song) features the vocals of Rachel Keagy and is coming 11.22.24. This track explores themes of surrender and was written from the perspective of Mary.
